1. Инсталирайте phpBB 3.X (Не изтривайте директорията install)
2. Отворете форума през http пример(http://localhost/forum/install/) и натиснете таб: [Convert] след това бутон [Convert];
3. Извежда Ви се форма за извличане на данни от phpBB 2.x. Въведете ги коректно и натиснете "Begin Conversion"
4. Ще Ви се изведат следните съобщения

Your old search index was not converted. Searching will always yield an empty result. To create a new search index go to the Administration Control Panel, select Maintenance and then choose Search index from the submenu.
